What we store

Only what the site needs to work. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

• Volume 2 applications: the details you enter (artist name, contact details, location, bio, links) and any files you upload. Your application is also emailed to us so we can reply.
• Membership: your name, email, and whatever you chose to add — Instagram, city, country, a note. Your email is used to send your way in and news about the cypher. Nothing else.
• Beat plays: when a member plays a full instrumental we record which beat, when, and which membership it was played on, because the beats are not cleared for release. Your IP address is stored only as a hash, never in the clear.
• Comments: the display name and text you post, plus a hashed device identifier so you can delete your own comments.
• Newsletter: the email address you submit.
• Test orders: the name and email entered at the development checkout. The store is closed and no payment details are ever collected.

Cookies

A functional device cookie (comment ownership), a sign-in cookie if you are a member, and a session cookie for the admin area. No advertising or analytics cookies, ever.

Your data is yours

Ask us to delete your application, your membership or your comments and we will.
